API keys: one per server, each with its own job
The API integration now works like webhooks: create as many keys as you need and give each one only the actions its server needs.
Before
Each app had one API key, and all it could do was look up users and their subscriptions.
What’s possible now
- Several keys per app, each set up in a short wizard: one for your shop, one for your Discord bot.
- Create users: the API returns a sign-up link, and the person finishes their account on Vaultix. Works in key and username mode.
- Add subscriptions for some days or lifetime. Time is added on top of an existing subscription, and an Idempotency-Key stops a retry from adding it twice.
- Choose per key which data comes back and which products it may grant.
- Lock each key to IP addresses, ranges or hostnames. Browser requests are always refused.
- Keys are shown once, can be paused or rotated, and every request shows in the activity log with the key’s name.
Your existing key
It keeps working. You find it under Integrations → API as “API key”, where you can give it more actions or replace it.
