Customization: your own login and sign-up pages
The pages your users see when they connect or sign up now look like your app, not like Vaultix. Everything is on one page, with a live preview next to it.
Before
Sign-up links opened a page in the Vaultix design with fixed texts. Nothing showed that the page belonged to your app.
What you can change
Look
- Name and logo at the top. Without a logo, the first letter of the name is shown.
- Accent color for buttons and highlights. The button text switches to black or white for contrast.
- Light, dark or auto theme, rounded, soft or square corners, and a plain, tinted or glowing background.
Texts
- Login heading, sign-up heading and a short message under the heading.
- The connect message above the login form, written with variables, or hidden with one switch.
- A public name for each API key, so users see “Nimbus Discord” instead of “discord-prod-2”.
End pages
- Connected: shown after logging in to an existing account. Heading and text are yours.
- Account created: shown after a new sign-up, with the license key or a note to sign in with username and password.
- A small line on Account created that the integration is already connected. Change it or hide it.
Write the connect message yourself
Use {{name}} for the API key’s public name, {{label}} for the text your integration sends with the link (for example a Discord name) and {{access}} for what the key may do. Click a variable to put it where your cursor is. When an integration sends no label, {{label}} and its brackets are left out.
Template: {{name}} ({{label}}) wants to {{access}}.
Users see: Nimbus Discord (Discord user neo) wants to see your username
and subscriptions and add subscriptions.
No label: Nimbus Discord wants to see your username and subscriptions
and add subscriptions.
Set it up
In your app
- Open Customization in the sidebar (app owners only).
- Pick a name, logo and color. The preview on the right follows every change.
- Switch the preview between Log in, Sign up, Connected and New account, and choose which API key to preview as.
- Click Save changes. A logo is saved as soon as you upload it.
Where it applies
On connect links from your API keys and on sign-up links. In key login mode the license key field shows your own key prefix, for example NIMBUS-XXXX-XXXX-XXXX-XXXX. Every page still says that it is secured by Vaultix and shows who is responsible for the user’s data.
