We keep only what the service needs, only as long as it needs it, and we don’t abandon customers because someone sends a threatening email.

We keep very little

Server logs keep shortened IP addresses and are deleted after 7 days
Every IP address we store is deleted after 7 days
No analytics, no ads, no third-party cookies
Turn off recording IP addresses or browsers in your audit log, per app

No payment provider

You pay from your own wallet, so we never see card or bank details. Our finance records, which German law requires us to keep, show a customer number, not your name.

We stand our ground

No arbitrary takedowns: a person reviews every report
No voluntary disclosure of customer data for intellectual property claims
Legal demands checked for legal basis, jurisdiction, authenticity and scope
Apps are end-to-end encrypted, so we can’t open their files at all

Questions

Where are the servers?: In Germany. German and EU data protection law applies.
Do you scan uploaded files?: No. There is no scanning, monitoring or automated content check.
