Vaultix: software licensing with zero-knowledge files
Vaultix is a privacy-first licensing, delivery and support platform for desktop software: license keys or user accounts, HWID device binding, end-to-end encrypted file delivery, runtime variables and Discord support tickets, managed from one dashboard and used through a C++ SDK or the REST API. Hosted in Germany.
Zero-knowledge files
Apps are end-to-end encrypted. The customer's browser encrypts and signs every file, folder and variable before upload; Vaultix stores and delivers only encrypted data and cannot read it. Every download gets a new one-time key, and the C++ SDK checks the uploader's signature and decrypts in memory. Team members get their own keys, and the app owner decides who gets access. How it works.

Our philosophy
Your software deserves infrastructure that stands its ground. We don't bow to corporate pressure, we don't mistake allegations for evidence, and we don't abandon our customers because someone sends a threatening email.
- No arbitrary takedowns: we don't suspend services or disclose customer data just because a third party makes an unverified allegation. A person reviews every report.
- No voluntary disclosure: we don't hand private customer information to third parties to enforce alleged intellectual property claims.
- Legal demands, strictly reviewed: we verify the legal basis, jurisdiction, authenticity and scope of every request, comply with what is legally binding and challenge what is unlawful or disproportionate.
- No intimidation: a threatening email is not a court order. We protect our customers' interests to the fullest extent the law permits.
- We don't look at your files: no scanning, no monitoring, no automated checks. Apps are end-to-end encrypted, so we can't open their files at all.
- Data minimization: server logs keep only shortened IP addresses and are deleted after 7 days; every IP address is deleted after 7 days. No tracking, analytics or third-party cookies.
